Here's a very intreresting article published by the Edgewater Community Council's "ECC News". In this article, the ECC quotes Ms. Lulkin, President of ASCO, as supporting a landfill of the space between Hollywood and Devon. According to the article, Ms. Lulkin would specifically like to see "off-shore" islands here in Edgewater. One has to wonder if Ms. Lulkin was expressing the views of ASCO membership or just her own.

STOP THE LANDFILL

ANY landfill of Lake MI done to satisfy the desires of the FOTP would ultimately change many Chicago tax payers' proximity and relationship to the lake shore, impact their property taxes negatively, and affect the lake's fragile ecosystem.
